The game is not optimized to run above 30fps, therefore a lot of modern gaming systems (especially laptops) fail to reach and maintain 60fps. Capping to 30fps provides a very choppy experience and 40fps provides a very stuttery experience. 35fps is much less stuttery than 40fps and is noticeably smoother than 30fps, therefore it is the recommended way to play if you cannot get 60fps.
Most new PC games only have built in support for the XBox 360 controller. You can use your Logitech controller by having it emulate an XBox controller. Please refer this post. Basically you have to copy two files in to the game directory (the one where the .exe file is) and when you start the game, you should have all the controller options
Assassin's Creed II does support X-Input (Xbox based) controllers, so if you have one of these available you should be able to plug it in and use it in-game. If you have any issues attempting to use a controller, please let us know! - Ubisoft Support. #1. Lil Misery Machine Dec 21, 2021 @ 7:04am. Hi.
PS4 controller is not supported natively by Windows, so for games to detect it automatically and use it, games have to add additional code and input system. Some newer games, like Firewatch, or if we talk about Ubi games - ACU, Trials Fusion, ACS, Far Cry 4, etc., have this (and you can play them with PS4 controller by just plugging it in
Yeah, I think it's great. I pretty much always play with mouse and keyboard but this game is awesome with a controller. #2. Mig Jek Nov 27, 2017 @ 2:20pm. xbox one controller wirelles perfect! #3. Flying_Walrus (rusty as hell) Nov 27, 2017 @ 6:30pm. Thanks for the input, I bought it and it doesn't seem to have the issues that AC1 had thankfully
Actually it doesnât have trigger effects. Look at the back of the box on the physical copy. Games that have trigger effects read, âvibration function and trigger effect supportedâ. The box for Assassinâs Creed Mirage only says, âvibration function supportedâ, like Trepang2 and Remnant 2 which also do not have trigger effects.
About This File. To install simply drag and drop the files into the root folder (where the .exe is). The fix will work automatically but do make sure to disable steam input for Assassin's Creed 2 by right clicking AC2 on steam, then properties, controller, disable steam input. This is a simple pre-made fix similar to the one offered in the
Alt+tab out, open task manager, select details, right click on AC2 , click set affinity, and select 0 and 1. 7. Lastly set all graphics to Highest settings (unless you have a potato -_-), turn on v-sync and enjoy. I used my ps4 controller with AC 1 and AC 2 with no issues other than figuring out how to set it up.
